Whether because of getting into a fight with their sibling or not getting the toy your child wants, kids and their anger is oftentimes difficult to manage and while anger itself is bad, the way a kid deals with it can result to destruction by throwing tantrums or shouting at their parents.

I have dealt with many child tantrums while babysitting my cousins and it could sometimes be tempting to send them to their room or yell at them to stop being mad. Situations like these need lots of patience and I’m thankful enough that I was able to calm a child without yelling at them.

Although there can be plenty of options out there to calm an angry child, the best option is to talk them out of it even though they keep on stomping their feet or punching a pillow to let off steam. A child will still listen to you no matter what. You just have to be patient enough so you can let them talk to you.

Sometimes, dealing with negative emotions can be hard for adults because of the amount of stress we have, and if a child will increase that amount of stress, there’s a chance that both parties will have a difficult time calming themselves.

There are parents out there that aren’t able to tolerate their child’s anger and it is very important that one must know how this affects their children. That’s why the video below is the best example of how to properly deal with a child’s anger.

In the touching video, it all starts with Randy Gaines talking to his daughter that was angry and upset.

According to Randy, his wife was recording the precious moment on video without his consent and she also posted it on her Facebook. His wife was very happy to have a husband like Randy and she even said in her post, “My heart explodes when he connects with his girls like this. No yelling. No screaming. Talking. Discussing emotions and why we have such feelings.”

As we all know, parenting isn’t easy because you deal with so many challenges raising a kid just like this one, but seeing how this super dad dealt with his daughter’s anger is just the best thing ever. I hope all parents out there can be just like Randy Gaines.
