I’ve known a lot of people who follow in the footsteps of their parents. You may find a lot of this in Hollywood, where actors and actresses hail from a family and a long line of thespians.

We are a family of writers, and I think my siblings and I got that from our dad who is a writer and professor. At a very young age, we were exposed to the magical sound of the typewriter pounding its keys. It was also my dad who taught us to articulate well and to be vocal with our thoughts and beliefs. As early as 4 years old, I entered extemporaneous speech contests and songwriting competitions. My sister, on the other hand, became editor-in-chief of their school paper at a young age of 12.

Thanks to our dad, we are all where we want to be.

This pretty little girl is also an example that children look up to their parents. She absolutely adores her mom and it seems like she wants to be just like her when she grows up!

Her mom is a talented and beautiful dancer and just recently auditioned for a popular dance competition. She danced her way to the hearts of the judges and when her audition piece was over, her daughter ran to her on the stage to hug her mommy!

Then, she whispers something in her mommy’s ear. “My turn, my turn!”

With the judges’ approval, the adorable toddler danced in her cute little tutu and did a freestyle ballet number. She was so cute, every turn and dance move garnered a wonderful reaction from the crowd. Everyone in the show, including the judges and audience, began to cheer in amazement and delight.

Needless to say, this young little dancer received a standing ovation afterward. For that few minutes on the stage, this toddler has won the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people watching the show all over the country.

It is obvious that this adorable little girl loves and admires her mommy and wants to be just like her when she grows up. She probably watches her mom rehearse every day. And every night, she probably dreams that one day, she’d be a very famous dancer, admired by millions and venerated by little kids.

Little does she know that as early as now, thanks to the magic and power of social media, she has won the hearts of many. I won’t be surprised if a talent agent would give them a call anytime soon and give her the much-deserved airtime.
