The internet, fulfill “Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn, ” a ridiculously charming rescue puppy with what appears to be a tail growing on its forehead.

And no, before “youre asking”, it doesn’t wag when he’s happy.

Mac’s Mission, a licensed dog rescue center in Missouri, announced a photo of the puppy saying that he’d just been extricated alongside another older puppy. Under the ethos “we specialize in special, ” Jackson-based center offer specific attention to dogs with special needs or rare health issues that might otherwise struggle in other over-burdened refuge systems.

“He was extricated in rural Missouri, so many[ puppies] come dumped there, ” Mac’s Mission told IFLScience. “We save dozens this highway. They are always in horrid shape”

Fortunately, he’s now in safe pass and appears to be in remarkably good shape. Mac’s Mission took Narwhal to a local veterinarian who leaved him the all-clear, except for some readily treatable worms that are common in extricate puppies.

The vet also carried out X-rays on the puppy in an attempt to uncover the whodunit of his peculiar forehead feature. While the nature of the birth defect remains unclear, the extra posterior constitutes no obviou probability to his health.

“The unicorn face tail does not bother Narwhal and he never slows down just like any regular puppy, ” the salvage midst said in a post on Facebook.

“The extra tail is not connected to anything and had not yet been real exploit other than performing him the COOLEST PUPPY EVER, ” they added.

“Right now he is pretty much the most unique amazing example of what we do here and we are so appreciative to have the chance to be part of his journey.”

Narwhal is not up for adoption just yet, as the team wants to keep an eye on him until he becomes a bit older and stronger. However, judging by the comments on social media, he’s in no short supply of love.
